Rear of house extension + decoration

GMB has recently completed this innovative & contemporary rear extension to this beautiful home.

The construction of this addition to the property presented unique engineering difficulties in that we had to remove the bottom half of the rear flank wall without access to the 1st floor to be able to temporarily pin and support the upper floors, during installation of the substantial steel frame required to support this building.

The concealed zinc roof with hidden gutters was then installed from the new steel frame & the sliding glass wall was fitted to the new rear elevation.

Once the installation of the new underfloor heating system and tiling works were completed to the new kitchen area GMB were commissioned to carry out a complete external re-decoration.
